I can't believe how much I have let slip through my fingers. I have so much to write down, so that it will not be forgotten, however so much has been forgotten already. Such a tragedy really, my little girls won't always be my little girls. They keep growing up so fast.
Both Beck and Rachel are attending a school close to Midway this year. We are in the process of buying a home in Midway, and will hopefully close on it this week! It is a charter school, and a very unique one at that. So far they seem to be loving it. Becca is in second grade this year, and Rachel started kindergarten. Can't believe it. They both really seem to love their teachers, which is great.
It has been a crazy few years for us. We sold our home in Holladay last year. From there we moved in with Nathan's parents. We lived with them for close to a year, then we moved up to my parents home for about a month because the girls started school and we needed to be closer to it. Then we moved into a town home in Park City for a few months. Nathan's friend Dave Hunt owns the town home in PC and was generous enough to let us crash there. All the while we have been trying to close on a home we want to buy in Midway. We originally wanted to build in the neighborhood we are buying in. But buying an existing home was the best option for us. So the process to buy our home has bee tedious and long, but I think there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. We are so excited to finally have a place of our own again. However, we have felt extremely thankful for our parents and friends who have been so generous to our little family. It's not easy having other people come crash in your home, words can not express how grateful we are to them for letting us.
We have been really been enjoying the cooler weather. It is usually 15-20 degrees cooler here then in the valley. I love cold weather. My parents have a perfect sledding hill located right in the back yard of the home they are in. The girls can't seem to get enough outside time. I love it. Next week they start cross country skiing as part of their schools PE program. I'm so excited for them to experience that. Yesterday when I was picking the girls up from school, I could not get over how beautiful it was outside. Their school in sitting on some amazing property. Pine trees and ski trails everywhere nestled right up against the mountains. I could see people skiing, deer prancing in the snow, kids were sledding, trees heavily frosted in snow.......it seemed kind of unreal, like you looking at the back lot of a movie set. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest, or making it out to seem more fabulous then it really is. It just simply is that amazing.
A few pictures...so I can start to get caught up.
Livy turned three years old! Can't believe it.
