Happy Birthday Lauren
-- The lasting haiku of Masaoka Shiki at Horyu-ji --
Happy Birthday to the woman who has it all - an absolutely amazing husband and two beautifully sweet little angel girls. You give meaning to my life, you are the butter to my bread, and quite often you literally butter my bread. On this day of celebration, I find that when words escape me I can most easily find them in a haiku:
Happy Birthday babe.
You are getting old, but don't
worry. You're still hot.
If you love Lauren and want to wish her a happy birthday, please leave her a birthday haiku, too.
love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love your adoring (and adorable) husband.

Does it mean I am a bad mother when......
I take pictures of my toddler throwing a fit??
This girl is so loving, defiant, and sweet all at the same time. Lately she has literally been attached to my hip. The bad part about this is I happily pick her up because I love that she wants to be held, and cuddle on my shoulder. I think I am spoiling her?? Maybe?? She also loves to tell us NO! And she does so with a big grin on her face! The problem with this is that it is so cute that I end up smiling. I am creating a monster...The first step is admitting your problem right??
Did I also mention she loves this hat she is wearing?? Ya, this is 4th days straight so far, she has not taken it off once, not even to get in the bath! :).....I think it is adorable.
