Time really does fly

I was looking at my Becca girl last night while she was sound asleep in her bed, and thought to myself....HOW did she get to be so big! Life just keeps moving forward and changing. Becca at one point was our only child, now we have Ray who:) Soon another little one will be joining our family, and I couldn't be more excited!! I came across these pictures of our sweet Becca girl from when she was 6 months and 1 year, and I thought I would post them.

Something I love....

I love our nightly routine... I love when Nathan walks through the door and the girls light up and scream (yes scream) every time he does and Ray Ray will say "you homes you homes daddy"! Nathan then takes the girls outside to go run around, and they take care of the chickens while I finish up dinner. Then we eat dinner. The other night it was spaghetti, it was both delicious and messy! Rachel covered herself in sauce (she is such a cute stinker:) Then we clean up, read scriptures and sing songs. Followed by a dessert usually, last night it was fruit pizza. I think Becca asked most of the day if she could eat it, while I had to remind her it was for after dinner. Then the girls go brush teeth, and Nathan and I round up bedtime sippy cups. We read them a story or 2. Last night Becca picked "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"...Nathan and I cried while he read (we LOVE Christmas what can I say:) And then the girls go to bed. Nathan and I then talk for a while, read, or watch a movie. Usually we talk then I watch a movie in there somewhere before bedtime:) This week I have been obsessed with watching "Shark Week"! And that is our nightly routine. You probably notice the hat Rachel wears in every picture...That girl lives in that hat, and Cinderella PJ's! And now a quote from Becca

Becca: Daddy Come quick and wipe me, I pooped toys!.......?

Nathan goes to the bathroom to find that she did in fact poop what looked likes toys...

Becca: See dad look! I pooped a heart, a cat, and a ball!

p.s. Nathan took a picture because they looked just like what she described, I was going to give you the option of viewing that...and then decided to just have you take my word for it. If you desperately want to see it, you can e-mail us for the picture:).

Costco + Organic food=great deal!!

I know a lot of us tend to think that eating organic food is next to impossible because of the high price tag. I also know that all organic food is not created equally, however most organic food found on the market is still a better alternative to the other food when possible. Thanks to Costco Nathan and I have been able to buy most of our grocery's of organic quality at a very reasonable price! I will show the list and price of each organic item I buy there and give you a total:). Some of the scariest food out there to buy, is meat!! If you only knew what you were eating....It is very very scary. Nathan and I buy a whole local cow every year that has been grass fed and taken care of (not living in poop up to it's eye balls all of its short life). We then divide it up between family members to make it more affordable. Yes the price tag of that item is a lot, but completely worth it. To give you an idea that cow will last our family a little over a year and our share of the cow is about 1/4.

What is Organic food? Click here to find out!
