Nine years of marriage

Nathan and I celebrated our 9th anniversary last month. When we woke up the morning of, the girls had a sign out and made some cards for us. They are so dang cute!! I'm so thankful to have a guy like Nathan who is so good to us. I can't believe we have been married nine years and have three kids. Where does the time go?

Friday night family night

A few months back we decided to make Friday night a time to do something fun together as a family. Pizza is always involved, with a movie or an evening at the park, something along those lines. The girls really look forward to Friday nights together which is the goal in all of this, really.

My little Easter chicks, and the Dino museum

Last weekend we had a coupon to the Dino museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was pretty fun, the girls loved it. Perfect for a rainy afternoon.

Not much happened this year for Easter, which I didn't mind. We went to aunt Melanie's for a Sunday dinner. She put on an Easter egg hunt for the kids and that was about it. It was a very relaxed day, I enjoyed it.

A few little randoms

The other weekend I gave the girls the idea to wash the car...they loved that, thought it was genius! Nana lord asked them to wash her car while they were at it. It was pretty dang cute to watch! Livy being the stinker that she, kept getting herself soaked with dirty water! Yuck!

Also on that same weekend (I believe) Rachel and I went and spent a Saturday night up at Nana Neibaurs for Rachel's birthday sleepover. Nana was really busy in February so we celebrated a little late. Catherine came up on Sunday, so we made a cake and celebrated her birthday as well! Yea for late birthday celebrations :-)

The other week Becca got to go to "Singing in the Rain" with Nana Lord, Great Grammy Critchfield, and her cousin Madeline. She stayed up nice and late! Even on a school night! Mom of the year right here :-)

We are having typical Utah spring weather which I honestly don't mind. I like the rain, snow, and sunshine. I love having it stay lighter out a little longer too.

Spring Break

Well we didn't do anything glamorous really. But my little girlies and I did pack our bags (I packed our bags) and headed up the canyon to stay with Nana Neibaur for a week! Pompa Neibaur was in Italy and Nathan stayed down in the valley to work, so it truly was an all girls week :-) We went to some fun parks, ate a lot of gluten filled donuts, watched fun movies, had a fun cousin day in Provo at Malawies pizza, went to another fun park and Watched Krispy Kream donuts being made, ate more good food, stayed up late.....did I miss anything?? :-)

It was truly a much needed break from our usual routine. It was hard to leave and say hello to reality again. So thankful to have family so close by. I don't know what I'd do without them.

Nice afternoons

I'm getting excited for spring to make its appearance (despite the horrible allergies I get) I like summer for about a month then I'm ready for it to leave:-)

It has been so nice to spend the afternoons with my 3 little girlies at the park in this mild weather. Not too hot or cold, just a light sweater....perfection. I love watching them play. Usually Rachel will make it very clear she is going to go make a friend on the playground, while I watch Becca timidly try to be kind and hope for the best that someone will want to play with her. Rachel won't give up, while Becca doesn't want to "bother anyone" it makes me sad to see her try, only to be told no. She has such a kind, and good heart. Sometimes she will find a friend, which means the world to her and to me. I'm glad Rachel and Beck have each other, not to mention Livy who loves them like crazy! Those 3 need each other. I need them. They are my everything.
