In honor of Pinkalicious!

Aunt Kristen sent Becca & Rachel the cutest book in the mail the other day called "Pinkalicious". This book is so Becca it's scary! Anyway in the book the little girl makes pink cupcakes with her mom on a rainy day, she ends up turning pink because she ate so many cupcakes! Becca kept asking if we could make cupcakes after we read it, so we did. After we were done she came up to me and said "mom...I don't want to turn pink...okay"? Funny girl! I explained to her that if she kept her cupcake eating to a minimum she wouldn't turn pink ;) Thank you Aunt Kristen we love Pinkalicious!

The newest member....

This is Joyce. Becca named this cat Joyce because it is white just like the girl cat off the movie "Milo & Otis". I brought her home last week. She is a Persian and was incredibly fluffy when we first got her, but due to hair maintenance we gave her a lion buzz, she is also about 5 years old. I bought a cat thinking it would catch mice if we should find any in our new home....I also bought an older cat so I would not have to deal with potty training..... So far no mice, but I have found several poopies in my house YUCK! So much for missing out on potty duty...Does anyone have any tips on how to retrain your supposedly litter trained cat? Anyway she is very cute regardless I guess we will keep her...that is if I don't keep finding more poopies on my floor. Nathan has kindly reminded me I wanted this, and it is an animal after all so what did I expect? Haha!

My Rachel turns 2 today.......

Sorry I have been a bad blogger lately, we just moved into our new home, and we are still getting settled. Last night we had a birthday party for Rachel, it was such a fun little party. I made cake, hommade chilie, and yummy rolls with cinnamon honey butter that Leslie made, thanks everyone for coming!!! I still can't believe my Rachel is 2.....She still does not talk much, but knows how to get what it is she wants :) She loves her big sister, and loves to tease her. She still loves her hat, she wears it to bed all the time, along with her glow worm, blanket, and water bottle....I think that is everything? She does this new screaming thing that has not been so fun. We are working on how to solve that one :) She is very sweet and loves to be held, she still hardly lets me leave her sight (even if I am just going into the other room). We just love our little Ray Ray so much, and we are so grateful she came to our little world, to be a part of our family. Here are a few pictures from her birthday celebration. I promise to be a better blogger in the future and will update on our new house soon....

Fashion

Fashion is just one of those things I will never come to understand. Don't get me wrong I like to look somewhat up to date, but I refuse to wear something just because it is in style. The 80's were not a good year for fashion, what makes these worse is that they are repeat offenders. And the best part is they actually want you to pay money for these clothes...the nerve;). These are some of the latest and greatest from Nordstrom. There were some that were in fact worse however I just could not bring my self to post them. Anyway I hope these will brighten your day with a good laugh. And if you own any of these clothes, I am sorry I hope you can get your money back:).

I hate those dreams where you are missing your pants. Poor girl I can feel her pain;).

This one is a Julie Roberts original from pretty women. Every call girl needs one of these.

I am just not sure what to say about this one...I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the person was most likely high while designing this beauty.

I love MC Hammer, and I love me a good genie pant, so I came up with these..Also who doesn't love their butt to look as unflattering as possible?

"Honey I can explain...no actually I can't...But hey the shirt was half off at 350.00 dollars...Did I mention that I really love bows?"
