The newest member....

This is Joyce. Becca named this cat Joyce because it is white just like the girl cat off the movie "Milo & Otis". I brought her home last week. She is a Persian and was incredibly fluffy when we first got her, but due to hair maintenance we gave her a lion buzz, she is also about 5 years old. I bought a cat thinking it would catch mice if we should find any in our new home....I also bought an older cat so I would not have to deal with potty training..... So far no mice, but I have found several poopies in my house YUCK! So much for missing out on potty duty...Does anyone have any tips on how to retrain your supposedly litter trained cat? Anyway she is very cute regardless I guess we will keep her...that is if I don't keep finding more poopies on my floor. Nathan has kindly reminded me I wanted this, and it is an animal after all so what did I expect? Haha!

Wow, I feel ridiculous - when I saw the picture I thought it was a stuffed animal. Nice. Anyway, Joyce is super cute. I bet the girls love having her. Good luck with the poopie patrol.

She is way cute! Cats are kind of like dogs when I lived with my parents we seriously had to keep putting there cat in the 'cat room' where the litter box was, we would set him right in it so he knew what it was.

Lauren!!! You have a cat! So much fun! You will love having one! This is what you do: take her poopies that you find in the house and put it in her litter box!!! That way she'll smell her own
poop and go in the box! Also make sure her box is always clean and fresh! Cats hate to
go to the bathroom in a dirty box! Is she declawed and spayed? Where did you get her? I love it! Good luck!

So cute! I seriously thought that was a painting... doesn't look like a pet cat! Good luck on your "litter box" training. She's probably just trying to leave her mark all over you house... I dunno!

No way! I thought that cat was fake! Ha ha. Good luck on the potty training. You are so good to have pets Lauren! What happened to the bunny?
