So this year for Easter we really didn't do much in the way of fun and by fun I mean, no egg hunt, no egg dying and hardly any candy! I know you must be thinking that I am a horrible mom by now right? Well I thought so at first too but I actually liked how things played out due to necessity. My sister got married this past weekend and I was in charge of making the wedding cake (no small task I came to find out) I also helped out with decorating and all that jazz, so the week leading up to Easter was a bit crazy!! Anyway I was pretty much exhausted by the weeks end. So the girls got a very simple Easter basket, and you know what they were thrilled honestly. Our main focus this year ended up being focused on what Easter really is all about. On Easter Sunday I picked out clothes we already had and I think we looked great :) That day following church we had Nathans family over for dinner, and an Easter play put on by Becca and her cousins. It was such a nice day, really loved it! I have a few pictures from the past few weeks.
