Becca turned 6 this month!! We had a fun celebration with just our little fam on her actual birthday. She called all the shots. We had a big breakfast before school, with chocolate chip pancakes YUM! Then after school Nathan picked her up and took her to Cafe Rio. After that we went to Draper park, then we went out to Cafe Rio again...her choice :) Next we stopped at Cold Stones for some ice cream. When we arrived home that night we opened up gifts, read books then tucked our big 6 year old into bed...It was a really good day.
A few days after her birthday Becca lost her 1st tooth!! Can't believe she is old enough for that. Then the weekend following her birthday we had a big celebration with games, witches brew, yummy food, games, birthday cake and good company!
My brother Alex and his new wife Sabrina got married at the beginning of this month, they are expecting a baby in February, a little baby boy. The wedding reception was in our backyard, and it turned out beautiful!!
We took the girls to a pumpkin patch this last weekend. I also took the girls over to the downtown cemetery this past week, to show them where I lived when I was a little girl. They love to hear about stories when Nathan and I were little, they just eat it up, it's so darling!! Anyway I lived in the avenues when I was little, and we lived right by the big cemetery (totally creepy) However, when I took the girls past my old house, they both said how beautiful it was! Rachel said "Someday when I a mom, I gonna live in that blue house like you momma." It really was a beautiful day, even the once was creepy cemetery looked quaint and charming with the gorgeous fall colored trees lining the streets! We decided to stop at this park that is just above the cemetery to play for a bit...man it was a beautiful day! Sorry I know I have said that a gazillion times now!
Anyway I am sure there is more to mention, but I can't recall what now.... It has been a beautiful October and I have enjoyed every bit of it! I am sad the month of Halloween will be coming to a close soon..
Ok one last thing! Becca's bus driver's name is Robby, so Rachel will ask Becca all the time "Becca you ride on the Robby bus today!?"
At Aunt Melanie's house. We had 3 birthdays to celebrate!
A random pic of Becca before school
Up Millcreek canyon for my brothers wedding. Rachel's smile cracks me up in this pic!
Becca wore a crown at school for her birthday, she thought it was so cool! Livy having her first swing ride at the Draper park.
Becca just after she lost her tooth
Putting the girls to work raking the leaves...I was pleasantly surprised at how well they they did.
Livy left the patch happy with the apple she found, and would not let go of :)
A drive by shot of the old blue house I lived at when I was little.
