Rachels Birthday Party

 

Rachel was one lucky girl this year, she got to have 2 parties!!! We had a really nice celebration with Nana and Grandpa Lord, and Nana Neibaur on Rachel's birthday. Nathan took the girls up to our local butcher shop to pick up some beef tenderloins, along with some great big hot dogs (Rachel's choice:). We had a yummy dinner with cupcakes to finish it off. My aunt LoLo came into to town from Chicago with her twin boys, so we decided to have a joint birthday party with my moms side of the family. We had pizza and other yummy food! After we finished eating I made a big bowl of popcorn and put Toy story 3 on for the kids downstairs. It was so nice to have family over, and so fun to see everyone. Such fun birthdays parties, like I said Rachel is one lucky girl:).

A really nice day...

I love days when Becca and Ray get along... On this particular day it was snowing and we had no place to be. So we decided to bring up the electric train set that use to be my little brothers. It was so much fun to set it up and watch the girls excitement! I love when their imaginations start going, you can just see magic light up their bright beautiful eyes:). Here are a few pictures from our really great day.

Happy Birthday Ray Who

Oh Little Ray..... What a cute, stubborn, sweet, loving, snarky, funny, teasing, cuddly, fireball of a girl you are! This little bug is so stinking cute and a stinker all at once;). I can't seem to get enough of her cuteness. She is a lot like how I was, so I am told. However I might venture to say that she is even more stubborn than I was. I Can't believe she will be turning 3 tomorrow.....:(.  She has brought us, and continues to bring us so much joy. It is impossible to describe in words what she means to us. The way she talks is so darn cute and hilarious. She says the funniest things EVERY day with out fail. She loves both or her sisters sooooo much, and most days she loves Nathan and I (or so we think:).  She smothers Olivia in kisses from sun up to sun down. She follows Becca's every move, I love that they are such good friends. When Rachel is asleep and Becca is up having quiet time she will say "I want Rachel to play with me, I need a friend." And when Becca is in school, Rachel can't wait to go pick her up! Rachel loves to help out in the kitchen and has to taste everything I am making (usually she does not approve...unless it has sugar). She loves butter currently. When going to Nana and Grandpa Lords house the other day she walked into the kitchen and shouted "BUTTER" in a happy voice when she saw it out on the counter.
