Is it seriouly February already???

I can't believe the Love month is here!! That means my little Ray Who will be turning 3...:(. It also means we will be blessing our sweet Ollie bug!!! Oh she is so sweet can I just tell you?? She just melts you to pieces. She is full of smiles, and loves to be around us...

So lately I feel like I have been a bad mom...... Rachel has turned into a little monster at night waking us up several times a night, along with Livy who still gets up to eat. So when morning rolls around Nathan and I are dead tired and can not move. The girls get up and go play downstairs while their lazy parents keep sleeping. Finally around 9 a.m. after Becca has informed me for the 5th time that she is "Super hungry" for breakfast we get up!

2 days ago I was woken up by Becca throwing a pillow into my face (with impressive force). So while talking at the breakfast table Becca says...

Becca: "Mom did you have a good nights sleep..."
ME: "Yes I guess I slept well until I was hit in the face with a pillow."
Becca: Shrugs her shoulders and says... "Ya I guess that just happens sometimes."

I had to just laugh because her response was so funny to me! Funny little Becca girl!

One more funny quote from Ray Who...
ME: "Rachel come help your sister clean up toys in the basement"
Rachel: "No I don't want to! I a bad gurl (girl) see mom, see my grumpy face?"

When I was pregnant with jacob and super sick, I moved all the cereal down to kid level so they could get it - and after I had Jacob the cereal stayed down low with the kids bowls in a handy location as well. Maddie was Becca's age, so don't worry - the girls will figure it out, so you can sleep in a bit more and have peace that no more pillows will be thrown at you! I realized it was not going to be their entire life they would be getting their own breakfast (or even a snack....set out some bananas and a breakfast bar) - it's just a phase so we as mommies can get some extra sleep. Sad thing is - I don't have a new baby and we are going through a similar phase again...some mornings just come too early and although once upon a time I was a morning person, it's not that way anymore!

Fun update - I love to read about your girls and their sayings...and I can't believe Rachel will be 3. Time is zooming by!
