Garden

This weekend, we were able to get our delectable plants planted :) I can not wait to have a garden tomato...Hmmmmm. I picked out 8 heirloom tomato varieties, that I just know are going to be mighty tasty! Anyway moving on from describing how tasty and yummy tomatoes are.

Our ward had a carnival this weekend, that our girls were SOOO excited about! Excited might actually be an understatement.......Is there a one upper word for excited??? Did that even make sense? Anyway, after we left that happy event Rachel turned into a little monster! Man she was not a happy camper about leaving! However once we got home she ate a bowl of cereal and crashed for the night.

I was at Downeast Home a few days ago, and found exactly what I had set out to find...Now how often does that happen really?? It was awesome! I took all three girls with me into Downeast and I found a lantern that had the right size and look I was after and left with in 10  minutes of arriving! I have a picture of my happy find.

Today has been a great day, it really has. After church all three girls, and Nathan along with myself had a afternoon much needed nap. Then the girls, and I made 4 loaves of banana bread because we had a shelf full of over ripe bananas.....The girls decided they did not care for that fruit this week. Then after dinner the girls went to bed ( I say "the girls" a lot don't I). Nathan and I have been enjoying a quiet evening at home. I snapped a picture of Nathan outside lounging on a chair. I love that he is there just hanging out with all his chickens running around him! I just love that man:)

P.S. I am sorry a lot of your comments got deleted from my last post, that wasn't me I promise, something is wrong with blogger. Is anyone else having trouble editing their blog site??

What a cute little garden! I'm so excited to have one some day - if I can ever get landscaping figured out. :) Your lantern is perfect - what a cozy looking front porch! Thanks again for the paint color - it's all taped and ready for the first coat in the morning! I can't wait!
