I have been wanting very specific foods lately. And I have to eat what sounds good or I get nauseous. Some have been weird cravings like my sudden need today for oysters, I like oysters but it is not something I ever think to order. It also can't be just any oysters, I want Oysters Rockefeller...I know kinda weird. The other night I had to have Market Street Clam Chowder! Lucky for me they sell it at their front counter in already prepared containers to go. The other thing I want all the time is orange juice. We never buy juice, we just never really do, maybe once a year? So I finally bought some and I have found though that when I feel nauseous I drink OJ and the world is right again!TA DA! I grilled up a portobello mushroom the other day and put it on a sandwich with lettuce, cheese, pepper-cot jelly & mayo yummmmm (my mouth is watering again just thinking about it). The other day I went to Costco in search of deli pickles and kalamata olives. I'm sorry I know this post is boring, you are a saint if you read this. I just wanted to write down these weird cravings I have been having. Did I also mention be bought chickens??? Well we bought six living chickens that are currently in our back yard, I will write more on that in my next post...

Girl... those are some dang weird cravings. I don't think I like any of those but the juice! HAHAH... I wonder what I will crave when I'm pregnant? Too funny. Can't wait to hear about the chickens... hahaha
Yeah, sorry but your cravings are making ME nauseous! Ha ha. I bet the girls are loving those chickens - can't wait to see some pics!
Some of those cravings are rather interesting! It's great you wrote them down to remember this phase...who would have thought oysters?! My problem was that I had cravings...but usually everything I wanted would end up coming back up....so even when I craved OJ (which I did too!) - after being sick with it once, it was on the list never to have for the first 12-16 weeks. I pretty much ate what wouldn't be too horrible on the down or up again...with Madeleine I lived on Slurpees and Sour Patch Kids. I'm so thankful she came out with nothing missing...I did worry when my main diet consisted of what I could get at 7-Eleven! The memories of being sick are still vivid....it's good you feel like something to eat....even if they are a little on the unusual of the pregnancy cravings!
Market St. Grill Clam Chowder sounds really tempting right now...if we lived close I'd get a few bowls and come share some with you!!
Good luck keeping up with the cravings...and posting about them!
Those are some weird cravings girl! But I guess it's a good thing that we really only get these kinds of cravings when we're prego!!
Okay Lauren, that is just weird! What are you growing inside of you?!
